Our Story
It started with a problem: finding a good tutor was basically a gamble. Sure, there were plenty of tutors out there, but who could actually teach? And how would you know before dropping your cash? We were over dealing with TAs and profs who were smart but couldn't teach, and tutors we couldn't even understand.
So in 2020, we built what we wished existed — a certification that actually means something. Not just another piece of paper, but real training from people who've been there, crushed it, and know how to teach others to do the same.
Fast forward to now: 1,000+ certified tutors, partnerships with top schools, and students actually getting results. KnowLaunch advocates for the student by verifying the safeness and knowledge of the tutor prior to the first meeting. But we're just getting started. This is about creating a whole new standard for what tutoring can be.
